2020年8月31日，北京大学汇丰商学院英国校区暑期线上课程《人工智能实训》顺利结课。课程通过线上授课，课后辅导以及课后作业三种形式结合的方式，带领同学们从人工智能的理论知识入手，探索商业领域的实际运用。本次课程参与者除了全职学生，还包括来自销售、教育及艺术等行业的在职人士。

　　本次课程的授课教师Alastair Moore是伦敦大学学院计算机科学博士，不仅在教学方面有丰富经验，同时还是多家科技公司的创始人和顾问。该课程除了详细讲解人工智能的理论知识——机器学习、监督学习、无监督学习、强化学习，还涉及了人工智能的伦理道德及偏见，最重要的是关注了人工智能在各行各业的应用，带领同学们了解工程部门的技术应用背景。例如，人工智能在决策过程中的支持作用、语言处理技术和成像方面的工作原理。在了解技术背景的情况下，同学们在工作过程中就可以与公司管理层以及技术部门进行高效顺畅沟通，思考新科技加持下公司的人工智能战略应用，从而为公司的科技创新赋能。

　　人工智能作为目前计算机技术发展最快，最热门的领域，已成为研究热点和重点学科。考虑到跨学科学习存在许多技术壁垒，本次课程的重点在帮助学生于短时间内从整体概念上把握人工智能应用的关键技术，对一些具体技术的层面进行有选择性地讨论。通过将新兴技术和商业理论有机结合，介绍人工智能在零售、金融、法务等领域的运用实例，帮助同学们梳理学习框架，突出人工智能的应用策略部分。另外，课程还针对学生所在的行业背景开展案例教学，并要求学生在课后作业中探讨如何在自己感兴趣领域里应用人工智能技术，以提升其解决问题的能力。

　　For the course, in my opinion, it is a bit rush and I would suggest the length of the course better extend to 14 days…Why would I say it is fruitful for me, it is because during the course I found AI technology can help a lot to improve my business management skill, to combine technology and Morden business management skills will be an upcoming trend, and … no matter how the business scale is, AI can anyway help on predictions in order to lower cost human factor.

　　I like this AI course very much， not only the cutting-edge AI knowledge but also the AI research method used- CANVAS is also very helpful for my doctoral research. I want to thank Professor Alastair for his excellent teaching. He is very patient and pays attention to classroom interaction.
