6月1日，北京大学汇丰商学院2024年毕业典礼隆重举行。国际毕业生代表、2022级硕士生Vahan Geghamyan在发言中说，在北大汇丰的两年学习生涯深深地改变了自己，不仅认识了新朋友、体验了新文化，还经历了一次自我发现与成长的旅程。以下为发言全文。

尊敬的各位老师、来宾，亲爱的同学们：

　　我是2022级经济学专业的Vahan Geghamyan，来自亚美尼亚。今天非常荣幸能作为毕业生代表在北京大学汇丰商学院毕业典礼上发言。

　　与大多数留学生同学不同，我有幸已在中国求学六年，时间比其他人更长。在这段旅程中，我去过一些中国最好的大学，这也赋予了我独特的视角来看待中西方教育体系的差异。北大汇丰集中西方教育优势于一体，打造了创新而全面的教学项目。

　　在北大汇丰的两年学习生涯深深地改变了我。在这里我不仅认识了新朋友、体验了新文化，还经历了一次自我发现与成长的旅程。我开始了解我的优势和兴趣，更重要的是，北大汇丰帮我找到了在未来想走的道路。

　　老师的支持和指导在我求学生涯中至关重要。我有幸与相关领域中最聪明的一群人一起工作学习，他们对我学术进益和个人成长的帮助超乎想象。在他们的帮助下，我学会突破极限、勇敢追求从前认为遥不可及的想法。

　　我相信在座的每一位在北大汇丰都收获颇丰。有人找到了新的兴趣点，有人拓展了视野，还有人建立了终身的友谊。我们的知识塑造了我们，我们的行动定义了我们。在北大汇丰优秀的老师指导和支持下，我们迈出了学习塑造我们未来的第一步。每个成就，无论大小，都是迈向充满新挑战和新成就的未来的一步。

　　今天，我们在此共同庆祝人生的一个重要转折点。当我们踏入这个新阶段，我希望我们在这里获得的工具和知识将赋予我们力量，让我们实现我们从未想象过的成就。愿我们所有人都有勇气追求梦想，传播善意，并在我们所到之处促进和平。

Dear Professors, distinguished guests, and fellow graduates,

　　I am Vahan Geghamyan from Armenia, a proud graduate of the Master in Economics program, class of 2022. It is a great honor for me to stand before you today as the valedictorian of Peking University HSBC Business School.

　　Unlike most international students, I've had the privilege of studying in China longer than others, for six years in total. This journey has taken me through some of the best universities in the country, giving me a unique perspective on the differences between Chinese and Western education systems. What’s truly remarkable about PHBS is how it seamlessly integrates the strengths of both, creating a program that is as innovative as it is comprehensive.

　　The last two years at PHBS have changed me profoundly. Beyond meeting new friends and experiencing new cultures, my time here has been a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Here, I came to understand my strengths, my passions, and, more importantly, PHBS helped me find the path I wish to follow in the future.

　　The support and guidance from the faculty and staff have played a crucial role in my journey. I had the privilege of working alongside some of the brightest minds in the field, and their dedication to my academic and personal growth was beyond my expectations. With their help, I learned to push boundaries and had the courage to pursue big ideas that I never thought possible.

　　I am confident that each of us has gained something significant from our time here. Some of us discovered new passions and new perspectives, and some of us formed lifelong relationships. What we know shapes us, and what we do defines us. Guided by our incredible faculty and supported by the dedicated staff at PHBS, we have taken our first steps toward learning those things that will shape our futures and doing those actions that will define them. Each accomplishment, no matter how big or small, has been a step towards a future energized by new challenges and filled new achievements.

　　Today, we celebrate a pivotal transition in our lives. As we step into this new stage, I hope that the tools and knowledge we've acquired here will empower us to achieve more than we ever imagined. May we all have the courage to pursue our dreams, spread kindness, and promote peace wherever we go.
