Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) is located in Shenzhen, as part of PKU Shenzhen Graduate School. Almost half of our faculty members are international and all of them have overseas experience. All classes are taught in English. PHBS also operates three dual degree programs with the University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and National University of Singapore.
Job Title: International Affairs Administrator
Peking University HSBC Business School is currently looking for a native English speaking staff member to work in the HSBC Business School staff administration office, supporting bilingual and general work related to international affairs.
Work responsibilities:
- Bilingual support & English editing and proofreading
- Organize and/or support international events, on and off-campus
- Manage the English website
- Help edit and finalize the annual PHBS Brochure
- Participate in the formation of academic exchange programming and business cooperation, and assist in coordinating incoming/outgoing international exchange students
- Host guest speakers and other invited guests whose native language is not Chinese (including Cantonese)
Work Location: Shenzhen, Guangdong Province
Work Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday: 8:00-12:00 noon & 1:30-5:30pm)
Start Date: Position available to start immediately
Contract: 3 years
Work Visa/Residence Permit: Provided
Salary: Negotiable
Qualifications, in order of importance:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree
- Native English speaker, proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
Others:
- Previous work and/or study experience in China with 2+ years of related work experience
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and an interest in working in student services
