Business English(MBA)

PHBS MBA Program/Business English Course Description
The Business English course requires that students already have at least an intermediate command of English. This is NOT a “learn how to speak English” course. Instruction will focus on listening, reading, writing, and speaking English in a business context with students participating in project discussions, group arguments, and individual presentations. The course will provide simulations of business scenarios requiring students to argue, negotiate and present their ideas and opinions.

The course will be divided into Part One and Part Two for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Part One,  will focus on intermediate level business communication skills and business writing.

Part Two, will focus on advanced-level business communication activities, such as leadership and team communication, negotiation, presentation skills, etc.
